Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how Streaka processes refunds for subscription fees, wallet deposits, and campaign payments. Please read it carefully before making any purchase.
1. Subscription Plans
1.1 Free trial and cancellation
All paid subscription plans (Creator and Pro) are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period; we do not prematurely terminate access.
1.2 Refund eligibility for subscriptions
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you subscribed to a paid plan for the first time and are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of the initial charge and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
After the 7-day window, subscription fees are non-refundable. This includes:
- Renewals of an existing subscription
- Upgrades from one plan to another
- Unused days remaining in a billing period after cancellation
1.3 Exceptions
We may issue a discretionary refund in the following cases:
- A billing error caused a duplicate charge
- You were charged after successfully cancelling your subscription
- A documented technical failure on our side prevented you from using core platform features for more than 72 consecutive hours during a paid period
2. Wallet Deposits
2.1 Deposits are non-refundable to source
When you deposit funds into your Streaka wallet, those funds are immediately available for use on the platform. Deposits cannot be refunded to your original payment method (card, bank, mobile money). This is because deposits involve third-party payment processing fees that are non-recoverable.
2.2 Withdrawal of unused deposit balance
If you decide to stop using Streaka and have an unused balance in your wallet, you may withdraw the full balance to your linked payout method (bank account or mobile money). There is no minimum withdrawal threshold. Standard withdrawal processing times and any applicable transfer fees apply.
2.3 Failed or incomplete deposits
If a deposit payment was charged to your payment method but the funds did not appear in your Streaka wallet within 24 hours, contact our support team immediately. We will investigate and either credit your wallet or coordinate a reversal with our payment processor (Flutterwave) within 5 business days.
3. Campaign Payments
3.1 Campaigns funded from wallet balance
When you launch a campaign, the campaign budget is locked from your wallet. Funds are only released to reviewers upon successful, approved task completion. If a campaign is cancelled before all reviewer slots are filled:
- The unused portion of the budget (unlocked funds) is returned to your Streaka wallet immediately.
- Funds already paid to reviewers for completed tasks are non-refundable.
3.2 Disputed review quality
If you believe a reviewer submitted a fraudulent, low-effort, or non-genuine response, you may flag the submission within 48 hours of approval. Our moderation team will review the flag. If the dispute is upheld, the reviewer's payment is reversed and the funds are returned to your wallet.
4. Reviewer Earnings
Earnings paid to reviewer wallets for completed and approved tasks are final and non-reversible, except in confirmed cases of fraud detected by our moderation system. Withdrawals that have already been processed to a bank account or mobile money cannot be reversed.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or report a billing issue:
- Email billing@streaka.co with the subject line "Refund Request — [your account email]"
- Include your account email, the date of the charge, the amount, and a brief description of the issue.
- We will respond within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method where applicable. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or mobile money provider.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of Streaka after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
